Abstract
Whether we want to accept it or not, AI is here to stay, and with it will come the gargantuan electricity bill fueled by datacenters and hyperscaler infrastructure. If this problem is not addressed in the next 3-5 years, consumer utility bills will skyrocket, as citizens pick up the tab of innovation.
